This is a very romantic doll. I absolutely adore the dress and her chestnut ringlets of hair.

This Belle is a must-have, especially if you've seen the Beauty and the Beast sequel from which this doll was fashioned. (I think this doll looks more like the original character of Belle than some other Belle versions).

To the surprise of Disney doll collectors, the dress on this doll is actually "fuller" than what the character was drawn to wear in the Beauty and the Beast animated sequel, The Enchanted Christmas. It seems the toymakers took more effort to make Holiday Belle an item that we would be proud to display. That is saying something about the quality of this doll.

As we all know, Belle is a popular character among Disney fans, especially young girls, but as the second holiday Disney doll in existance, this doll became an important piece in the Holiday Disney Doll series.

The color of the dress is a deep maroon, fitting the romance of the scene in the film.The fullness of the skirt, plus the crushed velvet, and the sweet rosebud at her collarbone, gives this doll an elegant appearance, worthy of Belle's character. I am glad to have bought her!
