As you can see, Belle on Broadway is a very beautiful doll. Meticulously designed after the ballgown worn in the sensational Broadway musical, this doll is limited in edition to only 10,000 dolls.

I have never seen such a head of dark, rich curls for any Disney doll. It is such a flattering hairstyle for Belle, and it is one which you will not find on other dolls of this type.

The dress, however, is the rarest jewel of all. The fabrics used to make the doll's gown are full of texture and depth, creating soft layers that seem light in weight but almost glowing in the beauty of it all. The way the fabric drapes around the doll's shoulders is luxurious. This is a well-dressed doll. (As she should be!).

This doll is wearing a perfect representation of the original costume that the actress who portrayed Belle wore on Broadway.

This Broadway Belle doll is not only a wonderful souvenir for that stage show, but she is an outstanding collectors' item for the Disney feature-length film as well.

Of note, if you plan to debox, this Belle would look spectacular next to the Signature Beast doll by Mattel. I like the more glittering Signature Belle doll, similarly priced, but I also opted to buy Broadway Belle for her unique and rich gown, which seems less glitzy and more stlyish when the two dolls are compared. I don't think you can find a more beautiful and well-crafted Disney doll, especially for her price. Consider buying this Belle for your collection.
