This rare Breakfast at Tiffanys doll was released by Paramount Pictures for Audrey Hepburn's fans. She is 11 ½" tall (Barbie sized) and has an uncanny resemblance to our beloved Audrey. Let me describe this beautiful doll to you...
She wears a long, sleeveless black gown offset by a dazzling white stole. The face sculpting and upswept brunette hairstyle (with gorgeous hair highlights!) truly capture the luminous beauty of Audrey Hepburn. Her accessories include long black opera gloves, triple-strand faux pearl necklace, rhinestone tiara, trademark black sunglasses, sheer hose, a white Schrafft's bakery bag and coffee cup, classic heels and a black handbag. *sigh*
The white, glimmering tiara and the dramatic sweep of the white cloth over her sleeveless shoulders are my favorite details about this doll. A second doll, the "Pink Princess" version, was also released as a part of this Breakfast at Tiffany's collection. (Note that all of the Audrey Hepburn dolls come with their own doll stands and a Certificate of Authenticity.)
This black Breakfast at Tiffany's Audrey Hepburn doll is so classic. It's always been one of my sentimental favorites among my entire doll collection. :-)
